BRONZE STATUETTE
SUCIDAVA, THE LATE ROMAN FORTIFICATION Representation of the goddess Venus, preserved in fragments (the lower part of the legs is broken). It was poured “full”. Nude representation, with breasts and sex highlighted. The left hand holds a lock of hair, and the right hand, bent at the elbow, is stretched forward. On her head, the goddess wears a diadem, and her hair is tied back in a bun.
