GOLD RING WITH CAMEO
ROMAN ERA, COM. ORLEA, JUD. OLT Gold earring made of gold wire, equipped with a closure device. On the front side, a gold plate, oval in shape, with radial ribs impaled on the surface was glued.
Gold ring with cameos, made of band with a width of 0.7 cm. A gold plate was welded to the tape, in the mount of which a cameo was fixed. The border of the frame was decorated with alveoli and incisions. The cameo depicts a female bust made of a white semi-precious stone, glued on a blue background. The woman’s head is to the left, her hair is tied at the nape of her neck, and she wears a diadem on her head.
